Jeff and MP are fishing Mexico in December, January, February and March. We will be taking bookings by e-mail only. We check our mail daily and like always, will take bookings on a first come first served basis. Feel free to ask questions...we will respond promptly by e-mail. On our returning home to Alaska, we will return all calls left on our answering machine and letters sent by snail mail.

In 2017 all of Jeff's trips are 1/2 day trips (6 hours) starting bright and early in the morning. Some King trips could be scheduled to take best advantage of the tide. The cost of all trips is $150.00 per person.

"It's a little for the money, but mostly for the funny."

These rates include local sales tax.

I will also customize any fishing adventure for you specifically.

Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions: i.e... about fishing or just about our area.

I will respond promptly.

Trout Fishing - Mid June through September Trout Fishing is Catch and Release
King Salmon - Mid May through July One King per day, Two per season
Sockeye Salmon - July Three Sockeyes per day
Silver Salmon - Late July, August & September Two Silvers per day, Three a day in September

September is a wonderful time to visit our area. The river is quiet and the fall foliage is spectacular. The Silver Salmon fishing is excellent with the generous limit of 3 per person, and we can fish trout as well. It's also a great value, motorhome rentals have off season rates that can be less than $100.00, and if you charter with us we'll throw in a day of riverside R.V. or e-mail me for more info.
Our Policies:
Once confirmed King's Budget Charters needs 30% deposit by check please. We keep our rates low by not accepting credit cards and we will send you a receipt promptly for your deposit.

Like any fishing guide, we cannot be responsible for emergency regulation changes or acts of nature that could effect your fishing adventure. In the unlikely event that things out of our control were to occur, we will do everything we can to make the best of the situation for you.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed.

Kenai River King Salmon Notice

Since 2012 the Kenai River (and many of Alaska's rivers) has suffered through a ' period of low abundance'. But 2016 saw tremendous improvement and way more fishing opportunity. We did quite well and fished June as well as all of July. So with good reason  I am optimistic for the 2017 season. I keep my rates low because I just want to be out on the River fishing and I want YOU to be with me. If the fishery were to be emergency regulated I would encourage everybody to be positive about catch and release fishing, it's a wonderful way to experience this magical place. We would also offer you an alternate day of or a mix of Trout or Red Salmon fishing, we have lots of options. In any case I will always inform you of any changes if a fishery were closed and would never keep a deposit  if you were not interested in another type of trip....but it's fishing and we'll have fun !
